"Try
Not to be Offended"
I recently heard something that was
so profound, yet I couldn't find an attribution to anyone. It goes
something like this:"I was taught to give no offense, but I was to work
twice as hard at not becoming offended." In the culture of our
business (Childcare/ Martial Arts), we try very hard to make people feel
welcome and comfortable. Courtesy is our chief tenet and we want
students, parents, and teachers alike to feel they are greatly valued!
It's important to teach our children to respect others feelings, but at the
same time strengthen themselves up for disappointment. How great it is
when we overlook an offense? It should be credited to us as strength and not a
weakness. We should teach children the fine balance of doing this while
not becoming a door mat. Here's a useful quote from Christopher Hitchens:
"Those who are determined to be ‘offended’ will
discover a provocation somewhere. We cannot possibly adjust enough to please
the fanatics, and it is degrading to make the attempt."

Everyone here is so amazing. The whole staff is exceptional and have always been there for me and my kids. They are more like family than a daycare. I am blessed to have my kids there and to have them a part of our lives. If your looking for a place you can trust for your kids I couldn't recommend any place better
Steeplecrest Childcare is by far the best child care facility my child has ever attended! They have constant activities to keep your child involved while also expanding their creativity, talent, and skills. Everytime I walked in to pick my daughter up she was always laughing and smiling and it brings great joy to my heart to see that. She loved it so much that at the end if the day when I went in to pick her up, she wanted to stay and continue her activity and of course I absolutely enjoyed seeing her be so happy. I also loved the beautiful creations she would bring home. Josh is an EXCELLENT director, very attentive and involved. Jessica is an outstanding professional and a true asset to Steeplecrest childcare. She is very communicative and always keeps you updated on your child's day and you can truly see her love for children. The teachers are also wonderful. My daughter had a couple of teachers (Mr. Chris, Ms. Yasmin, Ms. Irene) in her group and they have no problem getting in and playing/interacting with the kids. In past experience at other facilities, I would usually walk in to see the kids playing while the teachers sat by to watch. Each child is treated as their own person which I know to be important because each child is unique. My daughter made many friends and the staff ensures the kids get along very well. I feel like the entire staff at Steeplecrest has become a part of my family and I will always be grateful for the love and kindness they have shown to my child and us. I absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking for the BEST childcare.
By far, one of the best places I have ever entrusted with my children. The staff is wonderful. They are all very caring and patient with the children. I was particularly impressed with the nursery room. You can definitely tell that the people that work there genuinely love working with babies. The hours and the prices were also the best that I was able to find.
